  • Evaluation and introduction of new Azure services and architectural patterns to continuously improve platform performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Supporting data governance and compliance requirements in collaboration with data owners and IT security teams
  • Mentoring and technically guiding IaC developers to ensure high-quality, consistent, and maintainable code delivery

Requirements:

  • Broad IT expertise gained across various roles (project management, requirements engineering, consulting, architecture) with deep knowledge of software development processes, including agile methodologies and object-oriented principles
  • Many years of experience in designing application and platform architectures, with a background as a software developer
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure architecture: VNets, hybrid connectivity (Azure ↔ on-premises), Azure AD / Entra ID, Azure Active Directory Domain Services, and security-compliant integration of Azure services
  • Deep knowledge of Azure analytics and data services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Event Hub, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Blob Storage, Power BI, Azure AI Search, Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, Cosmos DB
  • Very proficient in IaC development using PowerShell, ARM templates / Bicep, Azure DevOps (build & release pipelines), and Ansible
  • Experienced in day-to-day management and mentoring of IaC development teams
